Introduction to the Incineration and Disposal Process of Solid and Hazardous Waste Sludge

1、 Introduction to sludge
Oily sludge is an oily solid waste produced in the process of oil exploitation, transportation, refining and oily sewage treatment. It is one of the main pollutants produced in the process of oil and gas development, storage and transportation. Oily sludge contains a lot of toxic substances such as benzene homologues and phenols, but these substances are also components of crude oil. Oily sludge is not only a waste produced in the process of oilfield production, but also a resource. If oily sludge is not treated and recycled, it will not only pollute the environment, but also cause a waste of resources. For many years, the disposal method of oil sludge in China’s oil fields has basically been the landfill of waste oil pits. There is a great potential for environmental pollution due to the non-standard waste and disposal process. If appropriate technical means are adopted for harmless treatment of oily sludge and recovery of residual oil, it will not only produce economic benefits, but also reduce pollution and bring great environmental and social benefits.
2、 Oil sludge resource disposal plan
2.1 there are many oil sludge treatment technologies, and the common methods are extraction, incineration, biological, physical and chemical treatment, etc. Since 2009, Hongke heavy industry has entered the solid waste treatment industry, actively developed and improved the process, successfully connected the metallurgy, chemical industry and building materials processes, and successfully developed the process of preparing light ceramsite through high-temperature calcination in a rotary kiln after proper proportioning of oily sludge with construction waste, shale and other raw materials. The ceramsite can be used in the production of ceramsite wall panels, building backfill, flowers, filter materials, etc. The sustainable route of solid waste disposal reduction, harmlessness and recycling has been truly realized.

2.2 oily sludge is pretreated by mixing, mixing, aging and other processes. After treatment, the material enters the rotary kiln for preheating and calcination after granulation. The material is calcined at about 1200 ℃ in the rotary kiln and stays at the high temperature section for more than 30 minutes. During this process, SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, K2O, Na2O and other elements in the material undergo sufficient oxidation-reduction reaction to form stable chemical elements. A small amount of other chemical elements that do not participate in the reaction are stably solidified in the ceramsite through high temperature. The high-temperature ceramsite is cooled, screened, bagged and packaged to form the finished ceramsite. The organic matter in the material is volatilized into gas after high-temperature incineration, and then discharged after reaching the standard through the back-end tail gas disposal equipment. To a certain extent, the whole process realizes the disposal standards of solid waste reduction, recycling and harmlessness.
