Ball mill is the key equipment used in grinding of materials after being primarily crushed, which is widely used in the manufacturing industry of cement, silicate product, new building material, refractory, fertilizer, mineral processing of black and non-ferrous metals as well as glass ceramic for the grinding of all kinds of ores and other grindable materials. There are two ways of grinding: the dry way and the wet way.

Feature

The wet ball mill is mainly composed of feeding department, discharging department, rotating department, transmission department (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electric control), and other main parts. The hollow shaft is made of cast steel, with a detachable inner lining. The rotary gear is processed by casting hobbing, and the cylinder is embedded with a wear-resistant lining plate, which has good wear resistance. This machine runs smoothly and works reliably. Note: Depending on the material and ore discharge method, dry ball mills and wet grid ball mills can be selected.

Wet ball mill is a new type of ball mill designed according to a new concept, using special rolling bearings as the support structure of the cylinder. It systematically solves the life and centering problems of heavy-duty rolling bearings used to replace sliding bearings, sealing problems under harsh environmental conditions, and the problem of cylinder movement caused by long-term operation.

Working principle

The working principle of a wet ball mill is that the motor drives the cylinder to rotate through a deceleration device. The crushed ore and steel balls in the cylinder are brought to a certain height by the lining plate due to friction and centrifugal force during the rotation of the cylinder. Due to the action of gravity, they are thrown and shed, and the ore is gradually crushed under impact and grinding. The crushed ore is discharged from the barrel through the discharge section. After the discharged minerals are classified into qualified products in the spiral classifier, the coarse sand is returned to the ball mill through a combined feeder for further grinding. The feeder continuously and evenly feeds the ore, and the ore enters the ball mill through a combined feeder. The ground material is continuously discharged from the ball mill. A ball mill is a grinding equipment that can work continuously 24 hours a day.
